Tips to allow your child to have a successful friend connection. Children need your help!
> Identify a friendship skill that your child needs help with and target that skill for development. Model this behavior, demonstrate how to do it, instruct them to do it, then reward them for their efforts!
> Allow space for practice. This can be with other family members, cousins, or even on the friend connection get together. Keep the practice session short. Don’t overwhelm your child.
